Overview

Section 01

We are a security and readiness firm. We say so plainly.

Most operational-support contractors treat security as a staffing category. We treat it as the discipline. Protection, training, and resilience are what we do, what our founder has done for more than 17 years, and what every process in this company is built around.

Where our capability reaches, we scope precisely. Where it does not, we say so and step back. Both halves of that sentence are load-bearing.

Mission

Apex Gama Defense Solutions designs, assesses, and strengthens the protective, training, and resilience programs that enable government and mission-driven organizations to operate safely, continuously, and under pressure. We are accountable for outcomes, not activity.

Vision

To be a trusted specialist small business that government agencies and prime contractors rely on for disciplined, measurable performance on hard requirements.

Operating principles

How we work, regardless of the engagement.

01

Clear scope

Scope is defined in writing and held to. We are specific about what we perform and what we do not.

02

Senior accountability

Senior accountability stays close to delivery. Work has a named owner and is measured against written commitments.

03

Safety and compliance

Safety and regulatory compliance are planned into the work, not appended to it. Regulated and licensed tasks go to qualified providers.

04

Useful documentation

We produce documentation a program office can act on and an evaluator can review — not paperwork for its own sake.

05

Honest limitations

We are clear about what we do not do, and we flag scope that belongs to a licensed provider or another teammate.

06

Measurable delivery

Outcomes are measured and recorded, so performance produces a usable record rather than an assertion.

Positioning

Clear about what we are.

Discipline about what we will not bid is what makes us credible on what we will.

A

What we are

A founder-led security, readiness, and operational-support company: protective program advisory, training and exercises, risk and resilience, and the facility and operations support that sustains them.

B

What we are not

Not a body shop and not a generalist consultancy. We do not sell headcount, and we do not bid requirements we are not built to perform.

Leadership

Led by its founder.

A new entity wins on the credibility of its key personnel. Ours is at the center of every engagement.

Eric M. Marks, CEO and Founder of Apex Gama Defense Solutions

CEO & Founder

Eric M. Marks

Eric M. Marks founded Apex Gama Defense Solutions to bring specialized operational expertise to government security, maritime security, training, and continuity programs. A former operator in the Israeli Navy’s special-operations force, he has spent more than 17 years leading complex security, intelligence, and crisis-response operations worldwide, managing multimillion-dollar programs across more than 35 international locations.

His experience spans maritime security, counter-terrorism, executive protection, protective intelligence, critical infrastructure, and strategic security operations, combining frontline operational experience with executive-level program leadership.

Experience

Corporate past performance begins with the people who carry it.

Apex Gama Defense Solutions is a new legal entity; its founder’s experience is not. Where permitted by the solicitation, evaluators may consider relevant experience and past performance associated with key personnel, predecessor companies, and related entities under FAR 15.305. Corporate past performance and key-personnel experience are not automatically interchangeable.

Key personnel experience

The following engagements are drawn from our founder’s documented career. Client organizations are held in confidence; details are confirmable on request under appropriate agreement.
