Why primes work with us

Three reasons to add Apex to a team.

01

Small business goal attainment, without the risk

Subcontracting-plan goals are only useful if the subcontractor performs. Our delivery is documented and accountable, so the small-business credit does not come with a performance liability.

02

Scope we actually own

Protective program advisory, training and exercises, risk and continuity, and facility operations support. We do not bid outside it. You will not find us claiming your scope.

03

Fast to paper

NDA and teaming turnaround targets are set with the prime against the proposal deadline. W-9 and representations and certifications available on request. [ERIC TO APPROVE: NDA, teaming, and proposal-support response times.]

On the bid

What we bring to a team.

01

Key personnel with documented operational credentials

Founder and specialist qualifications documented for evaluator review.

02

Written technical content

Proposal-ready technical approach, staffing inputs, safety and management sections, work-package definition, and early risk identification — not just a logo and a letter of commitment.

03

Small-business status

Self-certified small business under its primary NAICS, available for subcontract and teaming now. [ERIC TO CONFIRM: any state small-business certification or veteran-owned/socioeconomic status currently held — none is claimed here.]

04

Founder-led, scaled to need

Apex is founder-led and scales through vetted specialist personnel and delivery partners selected against each engagement’s requirements. [ERIC TO PROVIDE: available states and mobilization assumptions.]

Our terms

We ask for two things.

Both protect the prime as much as they protect us.

01

Performance documentation

Subcontractors do not automatically receive a formal performance rating. We ask, in the subcontract, for documented customer feedback and permission to cite approved performance and references where contractually permitted. It costs the prime nothing and helps a capable small business build a record.

02

Genuine subcontractor scope

We perform discrete, defined work. We do not seek to perform the primary and vital requirements of a prime’s award, and we will flag it if a proposed scope allocation drifts in that direction. Structuring the relationship correctly protects both parties.

Send us the scope.

Tell us the agency, the requirement, and the position on your team. We will respond with the relevant practice areas, key personnel, and a teaming posture — or tell you we are not the right fit.
